ROYAL MULU RESORT At the
Royal Mulu Resort, is located at Mulu, right in the
middle of the Rain Forest. However, you can experience every imaginable
comfort - tastefully designed rooms consisting of either deluxe,
executive suite, crown suite and royal suite. The
Resort has its own water treatment plant, which supplies all
guest rooms with clean and safe water.
Every room enjoys a spacious veranda, which offers guests view
of either the rich surrounding jungle or the Melinau River.

ACCOMMODATION AT NATIONAL PARK HQ There are Deluxe Longhouse rooms with air conditioned and
ceiling fans and en suite bathrooms for 2 - 4 persons. Rooms are
serviced daily and have tea and coffee making facilities, which
includes breakfast. A slightly cheaper rate are our rooms with ceiling
fans, single and double beds and en suite bathrooms, which
includes breakfast. A large fan cooled dormitory with 21 beds and shared
bathrooms is also available - includes a set breakfast.
FOREST HUTS Camps 1, 3 and 4 are used by those climbing the Mulu Summit.
These are basic, low impact, facilities designed to get you up
off the forest floor. Each site has a rain water tank for
collecting drinking water (but boil it just to be sure) and a
toilet. You need to bring your own sleeping bag, bed roll and any
personal items you think you need.

By Air - You must Fly to Miri, Sarawak to get to Mulu.

By Road and River - There are no
highways to Mulu. To reach by river, its a ten hour river trip from Miri to Mulu
- long journey where you have to
change transport three times and services are not
reliable. Check with the Sarawak Tourism Centre in Miri.
